Mac Gets Owned

If you checked out digg today, you no doubt saw the heavily, heavily dugg story tearing apart the "I'm a mac, and I'm a PC" ads. It resulted in an astounding amount of comments, just about 900 when I last checked, which is the most I've ever seen on digg myself, usually stories rack up 200-300 if it's really interesting, sometimes more for really touchy topics.

The overwhelming consensus was that macs are inferior when compared to PCs when considering each and every benchmark, and the overpriced machines are limited by not being open, a move for planned obsolesce to sell more hardware at a premium to those who want to see themselves as "trendy". The article is a quick and decent read, but the comments are diverse and really drive the point home.

I found this video, a spoof on the ads. There's plenty of these going around, but I like this one.
